I Was Distracted For One Minute

and missed how the guy who murdered his wife at the end was killed. All I saw was the sister standing outside Hamilton's room, heard a shot and saw Hamilton come out of his own room with suitcases in his hand. What did I miss? Did the sister shoot the guy?

They implied he shot himself. Which psychologically made Hamilton turn himself in.
