The film Frankenhooker seems to have borrowed the plot from this loosely. A crazy scientist's girlfriend is decapitated in a back yard lawn mower accident and he saves her head. He reconstructs a new body for her with various parts from dead hookers who explode after smoking "super crack." If you haven't seen this one, find it now.
