One good thing this movie has going for it

The leading man, Dr. Bill Cortner bears a striking resemblance to Marcello from Federico Fellini's "La Dolce Vita". I noticed that when I first watched this movie, and thought "Ah, La Dolce Vita. One of many movies I wish I were watching now instead of this baloney". But making the Cortner-Marcello connection in your mind can at least distract you for a little while how silly and bland Brain That Wouldn't Die is and put you in mind of a better movie. So at least this movie has THAT going for it...which is nice.

Nah, Rule #1 for any movie is not to remind the audience of better movies they could/should be watching instead. (A rule that "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" pulverizes, incidentally.) It's why I have a hard time getting past the Warner Brothers movie intro now, where they play that passage of "As Time Goes By", to remind everybody of "Casablanca".

Please, don't insult Marcello Mastrioani by comparing him to Herb Evers. What did Marcello ever do to you to be insulted so?
