Silly

This movie is silly.

I like it anyway. I'm a sucker for Bible adventure movies. The Arab girl dressing as a boy is hilarious. It makes me think of a Shakespeare comedy, though I don't recall any of Shakespeare's cross-dressing heroines making a blood pact to kill her own father!

It's kind of cool that Herbert Lom is Herod Antipas.

Forty-five minutes in and Howard Keel finally showed up!

I don't know if I can put up with this silliness for a full three hours though!
