Has there been a better death scene in a movie? People say Boyd over-acted but he was superb in that death scene. He made me feel bad for him even though his character was pure evil.

He wasn't evil but a mam who did evil even to those who loved him.

An incredible death scene. Boyd was brilliant. About as perfect a death scene as I've seen.

Was right not.to.let the surgeon amputate. Death in agony or at best life as a helpless cripple would hardly have been worth it.
