Redundant title!

They shoulda called it "The Titannic Colossus". Or "The Enourmous Gargantua".

Redundant title!

Well...yes. But I'm willing to cut them some slack on that. It's likely that their target audiences back then didn't know what a behemoth was, unless they were biblical scholars or English majors (who were probably not their target audience!).

If a couple more of these had been made, only The Big Lizard would have remained as an option.

As much as i think its redundant title yours are worse.

I want to see the sequels: The Tiny Behemoth -- a huge monster is reduced to the size of an animal cracker when a scientific experiment goes horribly wrong. The monster vows revenge and eats the Incredible Shrinking Man. Then: The Medium-Sized Behemoth. The tiny behemoth of the previous film meets the White Rabbit and becomes the size of a man in a dinosaur suit, unleashing a fad of year-round Halloween parties among teenagers.

They added Giant because most of the cast couldn't pronounce Behemoth. The acting wasn't bad but there's much of a script and the special effects were poor.

Gigantic enormous colossal really big behemoth.

Gargantuan Behemoth would have fallen more trippingly off the tongue.

Or perhaps Pantagruelian Behemoth.

Or Brobdignanian Behemoth.

Today, of course, it would be The Big Fuckin’ Behemoth. Welcome to Planet Single Entendre.
