Ross the Rapist!

Ray Danton looks just like David Schwimmer on "Friends"!

It's kind of weird seeing him assault women.

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

Ray Danton is a hunk! He has such a deep, expressive voice and definitely fits tall, dark and handsome!

That Schwimmer guy has a face like a horse~a twerpy horse! And, he moves as gracefully as a giraffe. He's very unattractive~to me and to others I've asked. BTW: None of us are "Friends" fans.

Ray Danton was the George Clooney of the 60's. Unfortunately he rarely had any decent parts to prove his acting chops, although I understand he moved over to directing in later years.

Certainly the handsomest actor of the period and in NO way bearing any resemblance to Schwimmer, apart from dark hair and dark eyes.

Come on lads, bags of swank!

I definitely agree about his looks! It seemed that, most of the time, he ended up playing villains, which he does a good job of doing.

I must say that this movie really surprised me! Parts were goofy fun, and I do remember what beatniks could be like~not just MGK! Then, other parts were hard-hitting: the attacks, the cop's attitude toward women and his wife, the question of her pregnancy, etc. Also, it's great seeing Louis Armstrong any time=}

I always check out Danton whenever possible, hoping to see him in a really solid role.

Ha! At the end when his hair was wet and he was bemoaning the wretchedness of women, I thought he looked like Ross/Schwimmer in that scene too.

Danton was handsome, no doubt about it, but 24-years older Cochran (to me anyway) had way more magnetism. Great eye candy all around.

Danton really shines as a baddie in THE RISE AND FALL OF LEGS DIAMOND. Being extremely handsome gives his villainy an extra layer. Lloyd Bochner had the same quality.
