Why Go To South Dakota?

Lead actor Michael Forest grew up in the Dakotas. He no doubt could steer producer Corman onto cheap places to stay and operate. They had to have a ski lodge in any case, and the one they landed on in SD must have been much more economical than anything around Tahoe or Aspen.
