Did you recognize Darla Hood?
She of "Our Gang" fame of the 30s and 40s. Little Darla trying to make a comeback. Too bad it didn't work. She was such a cute kid, but like so many of her peers, there came a time when she was pushed aside.
shareI recognized her immediately in her first scene in which she only has a couple words at the bank, then it's a long time before she enters the movie again. I was afraid that little one scene bit might be all of her role! Darla unfortunately got very few roles as an adult, most ex-kid performers back then we just not given many chances to prove any talent as an adult. She had a better though still slight career as a singer in the 50's and 60's than as an actress.
