Will Atomic Submarine appear again on TV?

Does anyone out there have an inside line to AMC-cable, who could tell us when and if AMC will telecast Atomic Submarine next time? As near as I can determine, AMC already showed "A-Sub" twice recently (3/24/08 and 6/11/08), but I learned about it too late and missed both those shows. My fault.
So it appears that AMC at least does have a license for occasional telecasts. I checked AMC's advance schedule that they've got on their website, and they don't indicate any shows of "A-Sub" through 7/19/08. But 7/19/08 is as far as their schedule-website extends. Maybe somebody out there knows some way to get an advance peek at AMC's schedule beyond July 19th, and could spot an upcoming telecast of "A-Sub" on any date after 7/19/08...?

Keep checking the main listing for this movie here at IMDB. If/when it is to be shown anywhere on TV you can receive, it will be noted on the main page. Of course, you have to tell the TV link where you are, the level of cable service you have, etc.

You may also find that your cable provider has a website showing ALL channels listings for the next 2 weeks, or possibly longer. I would expect such a web site to have a search utility.

Or, you could go to http://amctv.com and search there. It returns any scheduled showings within 30 days. You might also contact amctv direct via email or feedback link and request it be shown. I didn't look, but I'm sure they have some kind of communication channel.

Lastly, you might see if there is a fan website for the movie. If anyone would know, they would!

Good luck!

Hm.

1) One answer is to watch the thing on the internet. Imdb's home page for AS has the link to "Watch Full Movie" "at Internet Archive" at the top. (Look right under the word "Submarine" in the title, near the year "(1959)".) That is where I've just watched it.

2) Another way to check your cable system may be a "search by show name" feature. You might have to call tech support to figure it out. I have Time-Warner, and on their remote pressing the "B" key brings up the "search By name with keyboard".

3) A last answer is to keep watch on the "tv schedule" page of this imdb section.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052587/tvschedule

Although I can pull up the screen, since since the link referencing it is "greyed out" it may be non-functional. But I have found lots of movie showings that way. I have FireFox display a whole bunch of "tvschedule" pages, once a week, watching for showings.
