I was half surprised that when Mary Pilant produced the oft-talked about panties when she was on the witness stand, that they didn't make Laura Manion approach the jury and try them on. You know Laura would have loved the attention, and was probably not wearing panties at the time. I could see her dramatically pull those panties up in front of the jury, and VOILA!!! Like Cinderella, they were a perfect fit! So those panties HAD to be hers from the alleged rape. Case closed!
