Why no home video release?
This title often showed up as part of a horror bill at drive-ins back in the 1960s, and still occasionally creeps onto late night TV. You could even buy a reel of 8mm highlights from it for the home movie projector in the pre-VCR days of the 1960s & 70s. It would be nice to see a VHS or DVD release this atmospheric little thriller. Granted, the make-up and story are a bit cheesy by today's standards, but the film had a very moody look and feel to much of it. With such fare as THE PLAYGIRLS AND THE VAMPIRE and CAVE OF THE LIVING DEAD (other Italian vampire fare from the same era) out on DVD, it seems a shame this one is still overlooked.
