The Best Gangster Movie

I saw this movie a few years back when it came on tcm. I was completely blown away. I'd always wondered if there was a great Al Capone movie out there somewhere. Untouchables just didn't do it for me. For a movie made when this one was made, the acting was great. Rod Steiger did an excellent job. I can't help but notice, but it looks like James Gondolfini acts as Tony Soprano the same way Rod did Al Capone. You compare the same way they talk, and the smiles, and the attitude. Rod did it better though, with all due respect to Gandolfini. Anyway, a great gangster movie and in my opinion the best. I recommend it to any Al Capone fan. 9 out of 10.
