TCM actually aired this in widescreen early Wednesday morning
...right after an all-night tribute to animator Chuck Jones. So does this mean it may come to DVD at some point soon?
(Interesting fact: UPA, the company behind this film, also made 1962's Gay Purr-ee, which Jones co-wrote. His participation in the latter got him fired from his long-time partners, Warner Bros. [which ironically picked it up for distribution]. As a result, Jones set up his own animation studio, Sib-Tower 12, which eventually became a revival of the MGM cartoon studio.
Don't believe me? Ask Robert Osborne.)
