Still relevant today, mob mentality overtaking common sense. (And I'm not singling out any particular group, this is a universal thing.)

This is a good episode. The remake in the 1980's version is also one their best.

I can't find the 80's version. Do your remember the title or some of the actors? I would like to watch. thanks

I agree. I actually got angry with the people who demanded their place in the shelter. It really does paint a picture of humanity in regard to a few people who work hard and prepare for the future and how they are obligated to 'share' with other people who didn't do their part. Current trends in education, university and other aspects of life spring to mind.

Rod Serling's Night Gallery was magnificent too. Lot's of disturbing stories there too.
