fred willard in the twilight zone radio dramas

i'll spare you the news about fred willard in case you haven't heard, but i read fred willard has been a voice actor in animated movies, though i have only heard him star in twilight zone radio dramas, no matter what generation or interest in genre you would seem to have seen willard in all sorts of entertainment, movie and tv, like "silver streak", sit coms, the tonight show, teenage movies, i was thinking about it and things keep popping up in my head, really like you could see him appear on tv somewhere everyday, always playing supporting smaller parts it seems, the only thing i really saw him as the main star in was the twilight zone radio dramas, episodes as "the howling man" 👹, "third from the sun" 🌍, an emotional performance in "in praise for pip" 🎢 , and he brought some unusual fun to the parts as well, like playing the guy going to a psychiatrist, he (willard's role) has been awake for days and can't fall asleep cause he thinks he will then die, as a huge twilight zone fan i'm embarrassed to say i can't think of the title of the episode right now, i don't know what's the matter with me, but i love his deliverance of one part of the dialogue, showing his comedic gift as he describes a particular woman... "and she had huge... (willard pauses a bit)... cat like eyes".

glory i got saved,
before going to my grave,
on a dirty lonesome street,
almighty struck down an unknown reality,
i got saved,
nobody can take it away,
walking out of this world,
on a path of the written word.
