Decades Twilight Zone Marathon...

....Sy Fi channel is no longer the only one doing it. Seems decades decided to do one as well now.(probably because Syfy didn't do it for the fourth...?) I don't think they are as butchered on Decades as well.....but it's cool because I haven't had cable in years and don't have Netflix any longer..

I would imagine that (on cable) eventually the show will end up exclusively at Decades, unless Sy Fy is willing to pony up the dough. Decades and TZ are both owned by CBS.

reply

I have both schedules in hand, but I'll be watching SyFy more often because it's on cable in my room. To watch Decades (which is over the air) I have to go to a different room in the house.

SyFy is actually running more of my favorites today, beginning with "Sixteen Millimeter Shrine" and "Walking Distance" about 20 minutes from now (Mountain time).

I'm watching it now. I'm so happy that the lesser known episodes are being shown first. I couldn't stand how the marathons would always play "fan favorites" that have been played to hell and back.

reply

Agreed. Been watching the Syfy marathon for years and don’t think I’ve ever seen “The Four Of Us Are Dying”. On now.

If you look at the schedule, the lesser known episodes to which you refer are all season one episodes, in sequence -- except for a few that have been skipped. Those are the fan favorites that will play later during prime time. They're not playing lesser known episodes for any particular reason; they're simply going through them in order during the hours when fewer people are watching.
