I have never heard this brought up. It never occurred to me before.There are shrews and victims among the women in the episodes but couldn't you say the same of many of the men? When you put it the way you did, you will find that it's true.
Personally, I think the men AND the women were "victims" of the Twilight Zone.
There were just as many men who were jerks and victims.
