Riverboat (1959)

I keep hoping they will show those old Riverboat shows on TV some day. Anybody know if there is a chance of that, and why it hasn't happened yet?

Most of the shows produced before 1963 are now in the public domain, and are generally no longer licensed for broadcast. Riverboat is one of them. That doesn't necessairly mean it won't, but chances of your favorite shows from the Golden Age showing up on a cable network are shot full of holes.

Riverboat is available on DVD at places like Amazon.com. Also there are some episodes availble on the usenet/newsgroups.

If you're still here, Riverboat is available from Netflix.

But throughout it all, my motto was "Dignity! Always dignity!".
