John Cole

Hi! I was recently shown this web site by a dear friend of mine.
It came about while showing him pictures of my Father...John Cole.
My Father was an Actor / StuntMan on Rawhide.
I never knew my Father. My mother divorced him when I was just a baby..and he passed away when I was 6yrs old. I never got a chance to meet him but have often longed to know the man he was. As a child I always wanted to meet Clint Eastwood so he could tell me all about my Dad.
I have an older sister by my father, who I finally met in 1989...
And found out in 1996 that we also have a brother.
I've been told my Father was a real ladies man. They swooned over him and every one that ever met him, wanted him. So we have to wonder if there are more of us running amuck. ( laughs )
I have several pictures of my Dad and hope to supply the IMDB with one soon.
Most are casual home photos when he was marrried to my mother..but I also
have a few charactor pictures from episodes of Rawhide ( could also be from Bonanza or 26 Men ..... I'm just really not certain of that now ).
I also have a few pictures from a Golf Tourney ( dated 1959 ) of my Dad and a young Clint...( couple of other men that I believe to be Directors or Producers....once again thats info I'm not sure of ).
One of the pictures has been signed by Clint and the other two men for my dad.
Several years ago my husband brought the autographs to my full attention..saying " baby do you realize you have an autographed picture of Clint Eastwood that is prolly worth some money to someone? "
All I could say was that I had never really gave it any thought truthfully....
to me, it has always been simply a symbol of my Daddy, no one else in the picture ever really mattered to me...but the need to know my Father always has.
Thanks for listening and thanks to IMDB also. Its finally nice to see my Father accomplishments and name somewhere besides a death certificate.
