marie windsor and don beddoe

Just watched "Rusty Shotgun" and it took me most of the show to recognize Marie Windsor as the "plain jane" sister of Claude Akins, Don Megowan and Kelly Thorsden. Heckuva makeup and costuming job. Hard to believe I'd just seen her in a more typical role as a gangster's moll in The Narrow Margin the day before.

Come to think of it I'd also seen Don Bedoe who played the minister in the same movie as a tough cop. Much better than the remake starring Gene Hackman. With Charles McGraw you can believe he is a tough, honest cop but with Hackman there's always that deviousness and uncertainty.

Just watched Rusty Shotgun today. Knew Marie Windsor looked familiar
but I couldn't place her. Had to go to IMDB to look her up to see why
she was so familiar.

Yeah, I'm a big big fan of Marie Windsor and I was shocked when I 1st saw The Rusty Shotgun because of how she looked. I didn't think anybody could make her look bad. She did a good job of playing a plain Jane rough woman in this episode!
