couldn't the writers, or wardrobe people, or who ever made those kinds of decisions not have given a great looking guy like Rowdy Yates a better looking hat?  that brim is atrocious!!

That being said, one of the things I appreciate most about RAWHIDE is the realistic look of the wardrobe, the sweat stains on the cowboy hats in particular - when you think about the amount of time they spent wearing them, that and the dusty boots!!

Yeah, the realistically worn and grimy clothes are one thing I noticed right away with Rawhide that makes it more authentic. Jim Quince's hat is particularly sweat stained!
