shareYep. Me too, NO BOOTLEGS! I purchased a bootleg set of the series on DVD five years ago, in 2005. The picture quality was so poor I didn't, and couldn't, stand to watch any of it past one or two episodes.
I would love to see a real release of this from the original film prints! I would buy it right away!

I really don't care too much for bootlegs either. I have bought a few, but only sets that aren't released. My particular set looks fairly decent. I will purchase an official set just as soon as one becomes available. In fact I have always purchased the official releases (once available) of any DVD I previously owned which wasn't official. It's a promise I made to myself and a thank you to whatever company was willing to officially release it. Unfortunately, you can even get bootlegs without realizing it. I purchased Kraftwerk's first 3 albums on CD from a very reliable source. It turns out that Kraftwerk's first three LP's were NEVER released officially. (although, that may change over the nex couple years) My 3 CD's sound just like official releases, however, I WILL get the official released as soon as they come out.
Men Into Space is great and really does deserve a TRUE release. Obviously, the entire series exists, so I hope somebody does step forward. Any lover of classic Science Fiction should be more than happy to add this little known gem to their collection.
