Harry Dean stanton

It was nice to see him in an episode. Sorry don't know the name or season. But I love him. He was great

Agree, and it's always a treat to see Dean in any of his early roles. Same as Jack Nicholson, who is best friends with Dean.

One of the greatest actors in history. loved him in Howard's new life andy griffith show.

Cactus Lady episode Simm is now a hairdresser?
This was a well-rounded show the whole series, seems like they had a lot of fun making it.

Just look at his IMDB bio. Tell you everything you want to know. He was in Dark Verdict, first season, I believe.
I didn't know HDS until Paris Texas and Repo Man. He was in a ton of westerns, usually a bad guy, it seems. He's kind of got that shiftless, no good look about him.

I'm not a woman much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me.

"He's kind of got that shiftless, no good look about him."

I'm sorry you feel that way. HDS is my father's third cousin and I never thought Dad looked shiftless or no good; although they were somewhat similar.

Of course, I didn't know about the relationship until I was in my 40s and began to learn about how to do genealogy; luckily I had seen HDS long before that.

Golly, I didn't mean anything bad, although on "paper" it must look like it. In the Westerns where he plays a bad guy, he usually wasn't menacing, he's not a big guy like Jack Palance. Seems like he was a coyote, trying to take advantage of situations without drawing attention to himself. He killed a guy in Laramie and someone else hanged for it !
But I LOVE HDS. Like I said, Paris, Texas and Repo Man are huge favorites of mine, and every time I see him on shows like Laramie and Gunsmoke I perk up and smile.
My apologies.

Dark Verdict. Season 1, episode 11. I'm watching it right now and it's why I'm here.

Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

"Alien" seemed to be the movie that helped him really break out and get a lot of attention. Then, he started getting leads in films.

I've seen him so often in long-ago roles as Dean Stanton, but I always know it's him, long before the credits.
