I wonder how long until DTM gets censored or banned

If DTM ever became popular again, then it will get censored or banned soon after, just like The Dukes of Hazzard or other shows that are not considered to be "politically correct."

For example, one episode is about a hermit who fought with General Lee (or so the characters think), and Wilson is dying to interview him because the public would love to hear a first-hand account about fighting with Lee. The hermit proudly displays a confederate flag in his house and the dialogue explicitly calls attention to it as well.

In another episode, Dennis and his pals, Mr. Wilson, and a random white lady spend the episode dressing up as Indians and performing Indian rain dances.

Those are not the only examples of things that would be cause DTM to get censored or banned if it became popular again, but they are some of the most obvious ones.

Maybe eventually DTM might get censored or banned even if it doesn't become popular again?

There is one episode where Dennis is talking to a cop and says "thanks for your help officer. Now you can go back to being miserable again!"

I was thinking the same thing recently. I watched the first episode of the series titled Dennis Goes To the Movies. Dennis sneaks out to go see a western that his parents are seeing at the theater. He has his little friend sleep over so the babysitter will think he is Dennis. When Dennis returns, he tells the friend about the movie. With his holster and toy guns on, he pulls a gun out and describes the shooting scenes with his toy guns. This made me wonder if we'd see scene like this today. I hope not. I grew up when playing Cowboys and Indians was something most little boys did but that was a long time ago.

Personally, I wish they'd put that episode on a loop and run it 24/7...Screw political correctness.

There's also an episode where Dennis does a horrific Asian stereotype when he finds a disguise kit.
