Looking for a certain episode

I saw an episode on ME-TV a while back that I liked a lot. In it, a family of lazy good-for-nothings moves to town and tries to marry their daughter into the Cartwright family in hopes of cashing in on their money so the dad and son won't have to work anymore. As it turns out, the girl had been murdering unsuspecting suitors for a long time each time her dad decided they weren't the right ticket.

I saw new characters in the episode that I'd never seen before, so I believed it to be one of the later episodes, but I can't be sure.

Does anyone know the episode? It had a really good quote (imo) by the guy she was trying to court, where talked about a town or region of the country where the only criminal act seemed to be putting in a hard day's work, and the young boys only grew up with stories of Jesse James and the like as heroes.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Ladykiller (1967), an episode of The Big Valley (1965)?

There's a similar Gunsmoke episode, "Pa Hack's Brood", 9.13.

It was The Big Valley. Thank you! I didn't even know of the show so I assumed I must have been watching some strange Bonanza episode.

Kind of funny that Gunsmoke had a similar thing. Upon looking up the actual episode of TBV it seems the family was loosely based on a real one though, so maybe that had something to do with it.
