What happened in S12, Ep18 "A Deck Of Aces?"

Did the episode seriously end with Ben locked up and the impostor riding away? Did I completely mistake that? Did the idiot axmen at TVLand butcher the episode so that the ending was never revealed? Please help, because if this is how it actually ends, I have to say that it completely sucked!!

That's how the episode ended. The imposter rode away with the girl from the saloon.

That's what I was thinking. Oh wow... well that has become the worst ending in the history of TV shows, then. Thanks for the clarification, at least I know that I am not just going insane!
