It's available officially in france and spain... both prints are ok and it is indeed a really fascinating movie. Hope that helps. :)

There's a seller on eBay who has the film listed. Just bought a copy and it's the best one I've come across. I wish they would officially release this and other Nick Ray films (like The Lusty Men)!

It has aired several times on Turner Classic Movies, most recently today March 10, 2016.
