Lori's Mom

Ok i just had this movie on in the background, but Im watching at the end where Lori's mom has this whole conversation with the policeman about getting Lori her sweater and how she meant to give it to her this morning and how she has to be up early for a test...

and than the Big Man LIFTS up the bus.. with Lori in it and Lori's mom shrieks.. "PLEASE LET ME GO TO LORI, SOMEBODY HAS TO DO SOMETHING!!"

ok.. i think they should have let her go because i for one would have liked to see what she had in mind... Im thinking the collosal man just steps on her and shuts her up...

Maybe she knew karate.

That always seems to work in the movies and on TV. Steve V.

Yeah, no kidding.

The only illogical thought is that she wanted to die with her... so she wouldn't have to die alone! That's -something-!

But... Joyce saved the day.

Nice tie-in though how Lori was commenting earlier that she wished her mother had made her bring her jacket.

(NOT actual dialog)

"Couldn't I just take it up to her?"

"No, ma'am, there's a crazed monster running around up there, but the school bus is safe!"

"Oh, well then, I... ...a-a WHAT?"

"Sorry, ma'am, you'll have to step aside."

Considerate mom, dying leaves one very cold.

"I'm wondering why the bus didn't get out of there as soon as the kid saw the giant coming and they got everyone aboard. Seems to me they had more than enough time to scoot out of there."

In Bert Gordon's films, giant people can sneak up on you without any noticing. If you recall, noone even noticed Glenn until the boy went, 'Hey look a giant!'

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."
