'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'

I just watched the trailer and I'm reminded of the first time I saw 'Un Chein Andalou' and realized that I had just discovered David Lynch's Rosetta Stone. Just yesterday I watched 'Life Aquatic' again and I'd love to know if Wes Anderson ever mentioned this film as an inspiration.
