Somewhat confusing

I watched Vertigo last week and I had to watch it twice to make sure I understood what was going on. The film was based on the French book by Boileau-Narcejac called From Among the Dead. The Kim Novak role was also confusing, but Hitchcock did a great job of directing. I especially had to watch the ending a couple of times. What a story!
