Be sure to consult your local tv guide for the time in your area. Not one of the better Gordon Scott movies but still a good movie.

Just watched it. Quite entertaining. Gordon Scott in better shape than ever, and Woody Strode and the witch doctor were excellent.
Great scenery too.
I have only seen a few Gordon Scott movies: this one, and the three previous Tarzan films. I think this is one of the better Tarzan films overall, as well as being a good Gordon Scott film.
Actually, of the 20 previous Tarzan films (in the series, as described by TCM) I gave 8 of them 5/10 and the rest 6/10. This is one of the 6's for me.
Judging from a random sampling of ratings for Scott's non-Tarzan films, I suspect this is one of his better ones.
It has been years since I saw this one and indeed it was much better than I remembered it. A good movie but the next two Saturday's Tarzan movies with Gordon Scott are even better. This movie was great and had a very good cast. Gordon Scott was great as Tarzan but the best acting job in my opnion was James Edwards as the witch doctor Futa. Woody Strode was also excellent as Ramo wh is Futa's assistant.
SPOILER WARNING! PLEASE READ NO MORE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS ONE.
James Edwards as Futa is fantastic. He made many good movies and should have had a better career. Scott and Strode and the rest of the cast are great but Edwards steals this show. His death scene is outstanding and showed what a great talent he was.
Damn it I missed it!!!
