These 'Teenagers'
After viewing this flick, I must say that teenagers back then looked much more mature that they do now!

The lead actors playing the teenagers were actually in their late 20s. However you still make a valid point. I was 14 in 1958 when the movie was released. When my wife who is 9 years older than me took a look at my high school classbook the first thing she said was: "Wow, everybody looks so old."
