I am watching this one on TCM right now. It's quite an interesting film.

Interesting -- very typical for the era. Preachy in the style of Jack Webb.

Something I noticed -- not worth the effort to put a "goof" -- the narrator makes it sound like this takes place in New York, but the map in the PD office is Los Angeles.

I thought someone mentioned The Bowery, which would be New York, then realized New York has no palm trees.
