The two Hepburns

There's been alot of vitriolic criticsm of Susan Strasberg in this role and some praise, as well. I've no idea if I'm in the majority or minority and frankly don't care. I've seen "Morning Glory" and have now seen "Stage Struck" for the first time. I thought Susan Strasberg was great. She combines the theatricality of Katherine Hepburn with the warmth and vulnerability of Audrey Hepburn.

They mention Shakepeare's Ann Hathaway a couple of times at the end. Our own Ann Hathaway might be an interesting choice if there was a third version. But she wouldn't have been as good as Susan.
