Fox Movie Channel will be showing it again!

It will be aired from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Central today, Saturday, July 11, on Fox Movie Channel! I'm really looking forward to this, as I don't think I've ever seen it.

I just saw it for the first time myself. Good stuff. I hope that when the lights came on in the theaters, they had stuff that looked like the fungus hanging everywhere!

Of note is the creepy music in the flight scene, shortly before the stuff started coming through the baggage compartment hatch. It was used in cassettes/CDs of scary sounds and music in recent years. I knew it sounded like it came from a 1950's movie!

I hated that I missed it today and thought that I might not spot it again in time. However, a fellow film buff did the bright thing: visited the FMC site. He alerted me to its next airdate:
Thursday, August 20, 8:00 pm ET

By then, I definitely should be able to find a blank tape or decide which movie I want to sacrifice.

I saw this Saturday for the first time. A couple of observations (if more people would be looking I think it would be a great movie to do one of those 100 things i learned from seeing this movie....);

1)A better title would be Find The Missing Pretty Lady
2)The special effects used in this movie made The Blob seem like a Steven Spiegberg movie.
3)It was great recognizing the voice of Boris Badenuv (of Rocky the flying Squirrel fame)as one of the main characters!
4) I'm thinking what ever agency they were, they need to look into their decontamination procedures again.
5) ****Spoiler**** Sully would have been proud of the plane landing near end!
6) Moe Howard was great!

Moe Howard was the only reason I watched the movie but it was better than most from that time. Like you said, the title did not fit. It showed that Moe could step out of the stooge character and do quite well. I read that he memorized everyone's lines in the shorts and I sure wish I had that good a memory. I read somewhere that he would have probably been a pretty good actor on his own but the rest of the stooges probably needed each other to make it work. As I said in another post, too bad his did not get the chance at a new career as a character actor. He may have not gotten paid what he should have as a Stooge but from what I read, he was good at investing in real estate and had a good nest egg when he retired.
