I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but did anyone notice that this phrase is used quite often in this movie? It's funny considering that a well-known film with that title, also with an anti-nuclear war message (as if you can be pro-nuclear war. haha!), was released a year later.

I doubt it is actually at all coincidental - the book was well known at the time, people were looking at fall-out shelters and buying up dehydrated water and the like just waiting for the Rooskies to target us and us to light them up. Fortunately, it didn't happen, but that was an interesting time indeed.
On the other hand, my major interest in this film is the presence of Sandy Descher - because she was in THEM! -- very possibly my favorite movie ever. Unfortunately, IIRC it was her last film. I have just ordered the Blu-ray of this film.
