Why did they dub Jayne?

I really like this film but I don't understand why the didn't use Jayne's real singing voice, what was the reason for it?

Because she wasn't a good singer.

Wasn't a good lipsyncher, either. Would have been better to have her sing.

You do know that even if she had sung the songs herself, she would still have lip-synched to the playback of her pre-recorded vocal tracks anyway, right?

If you been dubbed it usually indicates that you cannot sing!
