Niven is so cool in this!

Thou he's in the film for what feels like a blip, he delivers such a casual, darkly humorous recollection of his "crime". Actually from a 2013 perspective I kinda rolled my eyes. At the same time it's not above human nature these days (and suppose back then) to blow these things out of whack.

I wonder how often that demeanor worked in Niven's favor in real life.
