Wendy Hiller can do no wrong!

I saw her in "Pygmalion" in which she nailed it way beyond what the amazing Audrey Hepburn did in the same role in "My Fair Lady". And she did it again here, 20 years later!!! She did it even more powerfully and more subtly than before. She's my new crush.

Any other roles of hers that stand out? Other than "I Know Where I'm Going"? I didn't care for the story in that one.

The talent in this movie simply astounds me.

If you like George Bernard Shaw apart from Pygmalion then Major Barbara is an obvious choice.

She's unbelievably good in A Man for All Seasons and The Elephant Man. Two great films.

She is also superb in Sons and Lovers and Toys in the Attic, divinely sly and funny in Murder on the Orient Express and quite touching in a small role in Making Love.

She was the best Eliza ever as far as I'm concerned, and I love her in The Elephant Man, but she is amazing in A Man For All Seasons.

It is not our abilities that show who we truly are...it is our choices
