Trailer

I saw the trailer for this movie when I was about 5 or 6 years old, which would have been just after it was made. I only remembered the sequence where the ghost in the white dress runs through the garden (probably the best bit) because it scared the hell out of me and I've never forgotten it. It was only this year I found out it was The Screaming Skull.

Ironjade,

What is it about that ghost that is so scary?
That ghost still terrorizes me, especially everytime I watch TSS!!!
I had nightmares for years about that ghost!!!
I say, to this day, that is the scariest most powerful ghost to haunt the silver screen!!

I think the unexpected lack of a head may have something to do with it. It's the only really effective sequence in an otherwise hopeless movie, which is probably why it's in the trailer.
It's been haunting me for almost 50 years.

Ironjade,

The Marion ghost did have a head. The head was a skull!!

Not when she was sprinting through the greenhouse.
