The wife...

...had a nice rack.

Only if you like padded bras. But her screaming face was one of the best...

Raymond has reached an impressive level of insight in his critique of Screaming Skull. Could he perhaps enlighten this impressed film fan and lingerie buff on how he figured out that the bra (or bras) were indeed padded...thanks, Ray!!

reply

Thought i was the only one that thought that! Bra or not, that was a rather nice hefty set.

I Agree Wholeheartedly. She Really Sported An Impressive Rack In This Flick. I Remember Seeing This Movie With My Friends At Our Local Theater Many Years Ago. Our Eyes Were Glued To The Screen During Those Scenes When Peggy Weber Was Wandering Around The House In Her Nightie. I Disagree With The Other Poster Who Commented About A Padded Bra. I Think The Material Was Probably A Little Thicker Than Usual So That Nothing Showed Through. Censorship Was A Bit More Stringent Back In 1958.

I saw her playing the mother in "The Space Children" in another MST3K episode and she was much prettier there. And that film was made a year or so after Screaming Skull. But she didn't appear in a nightie at any time.

reply

Just watched this the other night and couldn't help noticing her spectacular melons. You could totally see her nipples through the nightie when she's talking about the book she's reading.

Peggy Webber had one hell of a body. One of my 'lust after' women of the movies back in the fifties.

A very titillating scene indeed.

I agree completely. I am watching it right now and thought - "Hm, I wonder if anyone is turned on by her beautiful melons?" Lo and behold, I am not the only one.

Had to make a brief comment on the attributes of actress Peggy Webber (born 1925,and still living). She appears in one totally gratuitous sequence wearing only a bra and halfslip, and this was 2 years before sexy Janet Leigh gained much notoriety doing the same in the Hitchcock classic PSYCHO. The widow of Irish actor Sean McClory, Peggy has received virtually no attention for her nearly nude appearance but has certainly provided some adolescent thrills for many a red blooded youth, especially those who first viewed this film on Pittsburgh's CHILLER THEATER as the initial double feature on Saturday, Sept 19,1964 at 11:15 PM. All Chilly Billy fans can go to chillertheatermemories.com, created by John Buriak, for more information on the long-running show.

Dude, I am in absolute agreement (padded bra, my @ss).

Just the sort of thing that makes seeing a little flick like this a joy at 12:30 at night with all the lights off. Nothing makes for big fun like horror and titillation.

Thanks, Peggy!

Board,

I'm glad to see so many Peggy Webber fans on this board!!
Squash, I hope you enjoyed your viewing of TSS!!
Especially in the dark of night!!

reply

Why, thanks, Tony.

I think they exploited Peggy's pulchritude in this flick, but I don't think they exceeded the bounds of good taste. By today's standards, the cheesecake shots were really quite tame.

There should be a little cartoon cop in the lower righthand corner of the frame saying "Move along, now...nothing to see here...".

LOL! I just love the babes of late 50s sci-fi/horror. God bless them!

Yep. She could have been accused of going the padded route before her "striptease," but certainly not after. 😁

No blah, blah, blah!

reply

Ms. Webber was definitely blessed by the dairy fairy.
