Any Russian-English speaker want to make a translation

This is such an important film in terms of the Russian space program and science-fiction cinema that it seems strange there has never been (as far as I know) any English subtitles created either officially as a DVD or unofficially as "fan subtitles".

It seems the only film Pavel Klushantsev made that is available with English subtitles is the legendary early sixties film Planeta bur AKA 'Planet Of The Storms' and of course there is the 2002 documentary 'Star Dreamers' about his work.

I have an okish AVI video file rip of this in the original Russian (of course) so if anyone wants to help with the translation just send me an email at jackamo23ATgmail*com. In turn I guess you get to check out your English as I will go through the translation and correct any grammar and spelling issues and give you some feedback!

There are now a number of on-line subtitle websites which allow multiple users to translate a given video (I can upload the video to Youtube or another site, embed the URL in the on-line tool and then you just have to type away!). All the work can be saved as well so you can do as little or as much as you want (Have I sold it yet?!?)

Then when the subtitles are synched with the sound a SRT subtitle file can be created or they can be embedded in the on-line video as an optional function.
