A modest gem from Arthur Gardner + Jules V. Levy

Always liked watching this when I was a kid on channel 5 (then WNEW Metromedia ) out of NYC. Channel 5 would show it on Saturday mornings usually at 8:30 am and a few times at 10:00 am. Their print had the alternate title "The Curse of Dracula". The short climactic and horrific impalement scene at the end made this film unforgettable to young eyes. Much of the film`s atmosphere and sense of horror is due in no small effect to the music of Gerald Fried and the sense of horror it evokes.
