Rachel and Tim were supposed to be teenagers but the actors were 29 and 30 years old.
shareYea, movie makers are good at portraying "teenagers" using actors much older than girls and boys who are supposed to be in their teen years. Just look at the movie "Grease", from 1978. Rizzo was actually 33 years old, Sandy was 29, Frenchy was 26, and so on.
