am i the only one who thinks this is a really good movie?
i dont see the what people are complaining about.
and the script is kinda awesome.
Well, it's got pretty bad acting, bad directing, bad pretty much everything. But I think the movie is good because it's really entertaining. We can watch it and have a good laugh about it, and admire the man for really trying his best to make this.

Also, it occurs to me that Plan 9 has more or less the same premise as the, much more polished and thus much more praised, The Day the Earth Stood Still: pompous aliens who land on earth and lecture the humans to renounce their warring ways - or else...
Michael Rennie is not a pompous alien. He just sounds that way because he learned to speak English by listening to BBC radio broadcasts.

shareSome "bad movies", in their own way, are fun. Regretfully that is not the case as far as Plan 9 from Outer Space is concerned. Like the dead skunk my sister found in her basement - IT STUNK!!!
