Whaaat?? Only 30'400 ratings??????

Oh boy. Just watched this GEM again and raised my rating from 7 to 8/10, why? because I really appreciate here so many facts and stars... say it is a culmination point of 50ties pulp cinema. I truly love Bela Lugosi, he made my first ever tremblings while watching his 1931 Dracula for the first time in my misery at midnight alone at home.. decenies ago!! Holy smoke was I terrified... only topped a little later with 1921 Nosferatu (you youngsters don't remember how difficult it was in the 70-80ties to get hold of those films either on late night TV or in an obscure cinema with 10 1/2 spectators at midnight...)(that's why I love those films i guess LOL), so, only Max Schreck I admire more in Horror Cinema than Bela.

I also adore Vampira for herself, her TV shows and the influence in the comic Vampirella, the Munsters etc, appreciate the brute Tor and love the silly cops in the mist... (same applies to so many 50ties films)(Formicula etc) but what of course I love to this day in any of the 50ties Japanese or US SF films, that is the files holding the space ships or monsters... HOLY MOLY those good old times are gone with CGI around every corner! How cannot you love those films?????

Btw: same applies to Ray Harryhausen vs CGI. God bless him!

So, why the heck only 30'000 users think it worth to rate this film? I am a real buff of 50/60ties cinema, ok, but this film is a corner stone, a mile stone, a land mark of fantasy/scifi and must be seen by everybody. EVERYBODY!
