Couldn't Believe Robert Taylor was just 47!

I figured he was in his mid 50s as I was watching the film. I was really surprised when I looked it up on IMDB and saw his true age. Of course, he's still a handsome man in this movie but I was shocked at how much he aged. There seemed to be a big age difference between he and Charisse, who was a youthful looking 36 when the movie was made.
