My Neighbours

I just noticed that three of my old next-door neighbours are in this movie ;
Jane Downs, who plays Kenneth More's wife (seen at 11 minutes)
Gerald Harper, who plays the officer on the Carpathia (49")
Glyn Houston, who plays a Titanic stoker, with his welsh accent (1'20")

We all moved into new houses in Weybridge, Surrey in 1963.
On one side of our house was Glyn Houston and family.
On the other side was Jane Downs and Gerald Harper who were married at the time.
The film was made in 1958.
I wonder if this film is where they all met.
