Titanic: Honor and Glory video game

I want to tell all of you about this, which will come to be the most accurate depiction of the sinking, even though it's a video game.

Titanic: Honor and Glory is an independent project created by a few enthusiasts who are currently busy at recreating the RMS Titanic, where every last piece of the ship, and persons, will be recreated, and portrayed in the most accurate manner possible. You'll be able to experience the four day voyage while solving a mystery, leading up to the sinking in real time.

I've been following them for the last couple of years, and it's awesome and legit. Right now, they're in need of funds have started a fundraising campaign to give them the tools needed for the last stretch, hopefully to be released by 2016-2017.

Here are their links for you to explore:

And here's the link to their fundraiser page on Indiegogo:

If you can, I would encourage you to donate to this campaign, from a dollar to a hundred, or more if you can. Whether you can or not, spread the word about this in any way possible; info on that can be found on their website. Let's turn this game into a reality!

There is already a video game that closely approximates the video bits that the OP linked. It's called Titanic, Adventure Out of Time:

This game came out way back in 1996 as was years ahead of it's time. Here's a video clip:

Thank You :)

The only thing is that when I got it, it was on Windows 95. It did run later on Windows XP, but I don't know if it will run on any later versions of Windows or Linux...

Ok. Thanks :)

That does look interesting. I might have to check it out.

My impression of Honor and Glory though is that it's less an actual game and more of a virtual museum experience. You can move around the ship and there are supposed to be a bunch of artifacts/exhibits you can click on to learn more about the ship and its maiden voyage.

It's taking fucking forever though. I mean, the OP posted six years ago and it still hasn't been released.
